Gynecology

Non-therapeutic appointments designed to evaluate gynecological (not pregnancy-related) conditions including and not limited to menstrual dysfunction/womb attunement, uterine fibroids, hormone regulation, endometriosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome, menopausal symptoms, and fertility challenges with the end of subsequently establishing an integrative approach to treatment, resolution, and optimal wellbeing.

Postpartum

The weeks following childbirth are a critical period for a woman and her infant, setting the stage for long-term health and well-being. During this period, a woman is adapting to multiple physical, social, and psychological changes. She is recovering from childbirth, adjusting to changing hormones, and learning to feed and care for her newborn. This “fourth trimester” is often fragmented among maternal and pediatric health care providers, and communication across the transition from inpatient to outpatient settings is often inconsistent. We propose a new paradigm for postpartum care.

Self-Care

Self-care starts with self-awareness and practicing it means dedicating time every day that would otherwise be spent on other people or activities and spending it doing healthy and enriching things for you. Self-care is a lifelong process that starts with the realization that you deserve to be treated with compassion, kindness, and care—most of all by yourself. The three pillars of physical, mental and emotional, and practical self-care go hand in hand. Neglecting any one of them can lead to difficulty succeeding in the others.

Bodywork

Body-based approaches to treatment emphasize manipulation and realignment of the body’s structure in order to improve its function as well as the one’s mental outlook. Correction of overall posture, connective tissue, and/or musculature brings about greater ease of movement, less discomfort, and a higher level of energy in daily activity. Bodywork utilizes non-physical principles or energetic anatomy to clearing the blockage of the body’s energy through stretching and massaging particular zones of the body including the feet.

Mindfulness

Mindfulness is the basic human ability to be fully present, aware of where you are and what you’re doing, and not overly reactive or overwhelmed by what’s going on around you. Mindfulness is a quality that you already possess, it’s not something you have to conjure up. We help you relearn how to access it.  Take the time to pay attention to where you are and what’s going on. The process of mindfulness begins with being aware of your body and continues with the awareness of how to tend to your body appropriately.

Preventive Care

Getting preventive care reduces the risk for diseases, disabilities, and death — yet millions of people don’t receive recommended preventive health care services. Services like screenings and check-ups are key to keeping you healthy and for a variety of reasons, many people don’t get the preventive care they need. Preventive maintenance provides the benefits of reassurance, autonomy, and hope in addition to health gains.
